Kickback protection with an instant mechanical chain brake will stop the chain immediately if it rears up suddenly. There’s a chain catch bolt as well, in case the chain comes off the rail. A robust claw stop ensures safe handling, and also serves as a pivot point when sawing horizontal trunks.
