This 230 mm carpenters square brought to you by Minotaur is a large L-shaped tool to help you measure angles for woodworking. Its traditional design has a long metal blade and a shorter wooden tongue that doubles as a comfortable handle. The beechwood tongue material is hard-wearing and has a smooth finish that will protect it from chipping or splitting. The metal blade is made from stainless steel to give you a thin ruler rod that resists the build-up of rust.
In addition to establishing 90° angles or 45° mitre angles, you can use your carpenter’s square to measure a number of key scales for woodworking, including a diagonal scale, a board foot scale and an octagonal scale.
