You’ll no longer need a standalone breather membrane if you use YBS BreatherQuilt – a two-in-one insulating multi-foil that combines thermal insulation with a water-resistant and vapour-permeable breathable membrane.
Comprising 11 layers with a thickness of 40mm, BreatherQuilt is made using a high performing and durable roofing membrane as the external outer layer. The core contains recycled plastic polyester wadding and micro-perforated reflective layers, which reduces the risk of cold bridging, while the internal facing layer is made using highly reflective insulation grade aluminium foil – this is fully perforated to allow free passage of moisture, reducing the risk of condensation.
When you fit BreatherQuilt, you’ll be sure of a water-resistant, breathable and reflective aluminium foil insulating roofing membrane. Flexible and easy to install, this high-quality product provides a sustainable approach to thermal and breathable insulation.
